Isolation Gowns
Our three layer full back SMS isolation gowns provide protection based on AAMI guidelines, the most widely accepted system of classification, determined by liquid barrier performance tests.
Spunbond Meltblown Spunbond (SMS)
Our gowns are made with a SMS heavyweight material. SMS is a laminate like a sandwich which is spunbond on the outside and melt blown on the Inside. SMS is a Breathable Barrier, a fabric which holds back fluids while allowing air to pass through.
3 Levels Available
AAMI, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, has established a set of tests to determine the amount of protection an isolation gown provides against fluid penetration. Based upon these test results, an isolation gown is given a classification level of 1- 3.
